Physicians 1st Billing was founded on a straightforward observation: independent physician practices were leaving significant revenue on the table — not because of poor care, but because billing and coding is a full-time specialty that most practices cannot afford to staff in-house at the level it demands.
Our founder spent a decade inside hospital billing departments before recognizing that the same expertise — certified coders, payer-specific claim editing, systematic denial management — was simply unavailable to the solo practitioner or small group practice. Physicians 1st Billing was built to close that gap.
